Destinations in Kenya

Masai Mara: Wildebeest migration & game-watching all round the year

Kenya's Masai Mara conservation and the Serengeti ecosystem are home to the famous wildebeest migration. It offers the most dramatic landscapes and the grandeur of game viewing, making it one of the most sought-after safari destinations.

Hot air balloon safaris, engaging game drives, cultural interactions, and guided nature walks in private conservancies – all these make Masai Mara one of the world's most remarkable travel destinations.

Nairobi: East Africa's capital and logistics hub

With most of our Kenya safaris starting or ending in Nairobi, a stopover in this city is almost inevitable. International tourists fly into Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Nairobi also has Wilson Airport, about 90 minutes away, that provides charter flights to Kenya's safari destinations such as the Masai Mara, Amboseli, and others.

The city's main places of interest include the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre, and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, located in the city's suburbs. The Nairobi National Park, amidst the city skyscrapers, is home to lions, rhino, zebra, and various antelope species and serves as a great introduction to East Africa's wildlife.

Mombasa & Kenya Beaches: Family resorts & luxury lodges

Kenya's safari destinations are the most popular. However, it's most fair to appreciate the country has a dazzling tropical coastline.

Mainland Mombasa is a popular destination, particularly for families and groups for its beach resorts. It also offers exclusive beach lodges, which are more upscale and luxurious.

Amboseli National Park: The best views of Mt. Kilimanjaro

A short driving distance from Nairobi is Amboseli National Park. Mount Kilimanjaro is located in neighboring Tanzania. However, it offers the most spectacular views from Kenya in Amboseli National Park.

There's excellent big game viewing all year round - especially around the Amboseli's wetland areas – it is particularly best for viewing herds of elephants.

Mount Kenya & Central Highlands: Game viewing away from the crowds

Visitors to Kenya looking for less busy locations should head for the rugged Central Highlands.

Africa's second-highest peak, the 5200m Mount Kenya looms over much of the region, including great wildlife destinations like the Mount Kenya National Park and the great forests of Aberdares National Park.

Lake Nakuru: Flamingos & game viewing

Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake. The most popular destination to see Kenya's famous flocks of flamingos that form a pink blanket along the lake shores.

Lake Nakuru National Park offers game viewing the lake shores and Rhinos and hippos among the heavyweights. Bird watching is also very popular here. The park is home to 400 species of birds.

Shaba and Samburu

Shaba and Samburu National Reserves lie north, where Kenya's savannah desert is arid and scrub with mountainous topography.

The scenery is dramatic and homes to familiar African animals, and also you'll find some rare species making it one of Kenya's most attractive places of interest.
